1. Bleach Dilute bleach with hot water. For pure white swimwear, it should be soaked in the dilute solution for an hour, and then become white. For colored swimwear, special bleaching powder should be selected, otherwise the swimwear will fade easily.
2. Rice water It takes longer to soak swimsuits with mildew in rice water. Proteins in rice water can adsorb some mould, so light mildew can be removed.
3. Cleaning with alcohol Mildew on swimsuits can be exposed to the sun first and cleaned with a brush and then with alcohol. (Note: Colored swimsuits fade easily when exposed to the sun, so they are suitable to be dried in a ventilated place, and mildew spots are lightly brushed.) For areas where mildew spots still remain, apply 5% alcohol solutions to the areas, or rub mildew spots with hot suds for several times, and then rub the areas conventionally, so as to completely remove the mildew spots.
4. Special cleaning agents for removing mildew spots The special cleaning agent is available online and not expensive. And it works well. It is simpler and more efficient than the above mentioned methods. Pay attention to whether the detergent is suitable for the white or colored swimwear. Gently remove the mildew stain to avoid the damage of swimsuits.
